Movement Superstar Last Week
1

EDGE (14) (Watch | Photos

While Jeff Hardy may have gotten the last laugh heading into this Sunday's Ladder Match, we at The Academy still believe that The Rated-R Superstar has the momentum heading into Extreme Rules.

RANDY ORTON (5) (Watch | Photos)

No man in their right mind would want to be caged in with The Animal, but we believe that "The Viper" might have the mental edge over Batista after what he did to his friend and mentor Ric Flair on Raw.

REY MYSTERIO (Watch | Photos)

Though The Master of the 619 may have gained a slight advantage over Chris Jericho heading into their match at Extreme Rules, his loss to World Heavyweight Champion Edge costs him one spot.

JOHN CENA (Watch | Photos)

So far, Cena has not been able to lock the STF on Big Show, leaving us to wonder whether or not he will be capable of defeating The World's Largest Athlete in the Submission Match at Extreme Rules.

5

CHRISTIAN (Watch | Photos)

With Tommy Dreamer's hardcore experience and the raw skill and strength of Jack Swagger, the odds are against Captain Charisma retaining his title - but we aren't counting him out just yet.

6

JEFF HARDY

We know that The Extreme Enigma is going to risk everything at Extreme Rules to win the World Heavyweight Championship, but one miscalculation could see Edge climbing the ladder to retain his gold.

6
7

BATISTA

As he proved against Cody Rhodes on Raw, The Animal knows how to use the steel cage to his advantage. We just hope that what happened to Ric Flair on Raw won't take Batista's focus off the gold.

8

CM PUNK

Just days before he will find himself strapped to The Samoan Bulldozer, Mr. Money in the Bank proved he could do the unthinkable and put Umaga to sleep on SmackDown with a vicious GTS.

10
9

BIG SHOW

The World's Largest Athlete has been on the warpath as of late, which is what cost him his match on Raw, as he knocked out his own partner. But it might prove to be to his advantage against John Cena.

8
10

JOHN MORRISON

On more than one occassion, The Friday Night Delight has taken Shelton Benjamin for a ride with Starship Pain, and this week was no different, as Morrison defeated The Gold Standard in one-on-one action.

11
11

KOFI KINGSTON

Just one week after winning the opportunity to fight for the gold, Kofi Kingston is now the United States Champion with a huge win over MVP this past Monday on Raw.

16
12

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

Dropping the United States Title and five spots can't make The Franchise Playa happy, but he has the opportunity to take both back if he can regain his title in the Fatal Four Way Match at Extreme Rules.

7
13

CARLITO & PRIMO

The golden brothers continue to stay red-hot this week getting a win over Matt Hardy & William Regal. With the guts they fight with, we see Carlito & Primo holding those titles for a very long time.

14
14

CODY RHODES & TED DiBIASE

With a flip of a coin, either Rhodes or DiBiase was to "win" the opportunity to face Batista in the cage. Being the "lucky" one, Cody ended up getting brutalized by The Animal, resulting in a loss on Raw.

12
15

JACK SWAGGER

"The All-American American" has been out of action as of late, causing him to drop a couple spots. But a win at Extreme Rules will certainly point him back toward the top as the ECW Champion.

13
16

MATT HARDY

As proven on Raw, Matt Hardy and William Regal don't really meld that well as a team. That's fine, as there will be no love loss between the two when they compete in a Fatal Four Way at Extreme Rules.

15
17

FINLAY

ECW Champion or not, Jack Swagger better watch out as Finlay may be injured now, but assured all of the WWE Universe that he will be coming after "The All-American American" when he is healed.

17
18

MELINA

Luckily for the Women's Champion, she keeps her spot at No. 18 this week. But, if she is pinned again next week - whether in singles or tag team action - Melina won't be nearly as fortunate.

18
19

UMAGA

On SmackDown, The Samoan Bulldozer was rudely introduced to CM Punk's knee, and because of that, we think Mr. Money in the Bank might be strapped to an even angrier beast at Extreme Rules.

20
20

HART DYNASTY: SMITHNATALYA, KIDD

The Hart Dynasty's week may have been split with a win on "WWE Superstars" and a loss on ECW, but they are certainly proving that their heritage will make them a force to be reckoned with.

21
21

MARYSE

In tag team action on Raw, the Divas Champion teamed with Beth Phoenix to defeat Kelly Kelly & Mickie James. The French Diva proved she is the definition of a true Diva: Sexy. Smart. Powerful.

23
22

TOMMY DREAMER

This could very well be the last time the ECW Original will ever make the list, as he he has one last opportunity to win the ECW Title at Extreme Rules or will be leaving the company.

NR
23

CHRIS JERICHO

With an up-and-down week heading into his No Holds Barred Match at Extreme Rules, Jericho will need a win over Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio on pay-per-view to keep moving up.

24
24

MICHELLE McCOOL

The former Divas Champion may not have been the one that picked up the pin in the Six-Diva Tag Team Match on SmackDown, but she did enough to ensure that her team could achieve victory.

25
25

EVAN BOURNE

Although neither victory was by pinfall or submission, "Air" Bourne has notched two big wins over The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry on ECW. And for that, he breaks onto this week's list at No. 25.
